I come from a British-Asian background and appreciate the diverse multi-cultural world we live in. My core training is in Transpersonal (beyond the person) Humanistic Psychotherapy, which has enabled me to work with people on a mental, emotional and spiritual level, empowering you to achieve a balanced lifestyle. My drive is to help people seek their hidden potential and actively engage with themselves. It is fundamental to understand and empathise with one another in a safe environment, allowing you to explore your past and present. This allows you to nourish and identify wounds which may have been developed, enabling you to strive in your future.

I am adaptable and work in a way where there is mutual understanding and if at any time we feel my approach is not compatible with you we can discuss other options to help you on your journey. I also offer virtual sessions.

I am an accredited member of the BACP (British association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I abide by their code of ethics. I have over 18 years’ experience working in the NHS, helping clients with complex personality disorders, as well as this I run a private practice where I offer therapy to individuals, couples and groups.

My areas of expertise are very diverse, ranging from depression and anxiety, confidence and self-esteem, and personality disorder, to relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement, abuse, and parenting problems. With my vast experience comes knowledge and with this knowledge I have successfully managed to help people help themselves.
