Pauline has over 35 years experience working for the NHS, originally as a psychiatric nurse and latterly as a senior psychotherapist. She continues to work part-time for the NHS alongside her private practice, working with adults, individually as well as in groups. Pauline therapeutic philosophy originates in the personal and professional belief that as human beings, we each have the potential for self-development and growth. This can be achieved through genuine trust, self-knowledge, understanding and responsibility. She works using a variety of techniques which are underpinned by a psychodynamic perspective and her own life experience.
